Meet with AWC leadership at your local Regional Meeting. You will get a first look at our Board-adopted legislative priorities, and hear the latest in other legislative and programmatic information. You’ll have the chance to share dinner with other city officials in your region as you discuss local issues and prepare for the 2019 legislative session. Your input helps guide our legislative activity in 2019.
Serve on a state board or commission
Are you interested in lending your expertise on pipeline safety, emergency management, or 911 communications? AWC is seeking city representatives to serve on three state committees. Recruitment is now open through September 10 for the following:
- Citizens Committee on Pipeline Safety
- Emergency Management Council
- E911 Advisory Committee

If your community is struggling with any broadband issues, attend the Infrastructure Assistance Coordinating Council (IACC) Conference. Three separate workshops will deliver useful information and tools for broadband. You’ll leave with specific examples of success, best practices, funding information, and more. AWC provides one registration scholarship per city/town for small communities that want to attend this year. More |
