Earlier this year, Gov. Inslee announced that each city in Washington is eligible for at least $25,000 in reimbursements for COVID-related expenses. While these much-needed funds were appreciated, many smaller cities have struggled to find expenses that meet the Treasury Department's eligibility criteria. The state Department of Commerce recently issued detailed new guidance on how to properly submit invoices for reimbursement through the CARES Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF). The new guidance includes details on submitting the A-19 certification form, the A-19 activity report, a breakdown of COVID-related costs, and categorizing submitted expenses.
