Deadline approaching for Local Records Grant Program applications The AWC-priority public records bill (HB 1594) to improve public records administration included a provision for a Local Records Grant Program. The program provides grant funds for cities and towns to improve their retention, management, and disclosure of public records. Applications are due July 31. More
Livable City Year program summary of projects
The Livable City Year program at the University of Washington is wrapping up its yearlong partnership with Tacoma. Commerce civilian-military land use compatibility project
The Washington State Department of Commerce is collaborating with a private consulting firm to develop a Washington State Guidebook for Military and Community Compatibility. The partnership will develop written guidance and technical assistance tools for communities across the state where growth management and land use planning involve military operating areas. More
