Annual Conference Online wraps up
Representatives from 183 cities and towns across Washington participated in the AWC Annual Conference Online last week. Thank you to everyone for making it a great success. If you missed the conference, it’s not too late! AWC city members can view all the recorded conference sessions for free and elected officials earn 10 CML credits when they register.

Resources for safe planning of special events
The Washington Festivals & Events Association (WFEA) has prepared health and safety guidelines for events, festivals, and large gatherings, along with a related webinar. Event Safety Alliance has also published a reopening guide for event professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. These guidelines can be used in conjunction with state, county, CDC, and AWC RMSA guidance to help minimize risks associated with hosting events in your city or town.
