Northwest Women’s Leadership Academy accepting applications
This pilot program sponsored by the Washington City-County Management Association (WCMA) seeks to advance women from a variety of local government backgrounds into leadership roles. The academy includes six daylong sessions from September 2018 to June 2019 in Central Puget Sound. Applications for the first cohort of approximately 30 women are due July 13. More

Submit your city’s voting delegates by June 22

OIC technical assistance advisory on implementation credits
The Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) released Technical Assistance Advisory 2018-01, regarding implementation credits as illegal inducement or rebate. It applies to all insurance companies, HMOs, and health care service contractors doing business in Washington. The AWC Employee Benefit Trust does not engage in the activities listed in this technical advisory.
