RCO outdoor recreation grants
The Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) is accepting grant applications for the Land and Water Conservation Fund Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program. The program provides grants to acquire and/or develop land for public outdoor recreation purposes in jurisdictions with populations of 50,000 or more (2010 Census). Applications are due July 17. STOP school violence prevention and mental health training program
The Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance announced a grant program to support efforts that prevent and reduce school violence. The program addresses school trainings, development of anonymous reporting systems, operation of school threat assessment and crisis intervention teams, and training for school officials on mental health. Applications due July 23. More
