Marijuana excise tax distribution increasing
Cities that receive a distribution from the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) for the sale and distribution of marijuana will see an increase in the distribution. The adopted supplemental budget increased the maximum amount to be distributed to cities and counties from $6 million per fiscal year to $15 million per fiscal year.
