Although the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) is not accepting any new cannabis retail license applications, <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=5599&Year=2019&Initiative=false">SB 5599</a></strong> would require the LCB to issue additional licenses to any qualified applicant that is a municipal corporation or commission.
