HB 1131, sponsored by Rep. Brian Blake (D—Aberdeen), legalizes the home grow of up to six recreational cannabis plants. The bill will be heard in the House Commerce & Gaming Committee on Monday, January 21 at 1:30 pm.
HB 1131 allows a person, who is at least 21 years of age, to possess no more than six plants on the premises of the housing unit occupied by the person. HB 1131 also establishes a 15-plant limit per housing unit. The bill provides that a landlord would be allowed to prohibit home grow by a tenant.
