The Washington Military Department, Emergency Management Division seeks a city elected official to serve as the primary member of the Emergency Management Council.

The Washington State Emergency Management Council advises the Governor and director on all matters pertaining to state and local emergency management by promoting, assessing and reporting on statewide emergency readiness. Learn more about the Emergency Management Council.

Application process

AWC’s Board of Directors will review letters of interest at its December meeting. Prepare a letter of interest and a resume addressed to AWC President Ed Stern and send it c/o Alicia Seegers Martinelli to aliciam@awcnet.org or to 1076 Franklin St. SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
