2019 plan enhancements

The Board of Trustees approved plan changes that take effect January 1.

Regence/Asuris medical plans

Regence/Asuris – All plans

  • Telemedicine benefit added, which allows network providers to bill for using interactive audio and video for two or one-way communications with a patient.
  • Behavioral health services now included in the telehealth benefit through MDLive. Current MDLive benefits include on-demand access to a medical doctor 24/7/365, via web portal, mobile app, or call center. With the behavioral health component, members have access to schedule a visit with a psychiatrist, psychologist, or counselor.

Regence/Asuris – HealthFirst 250 and HealthFirst 500

  • Behavioral health office visits included as part of the first four office visits that are not subject to the deductible. As a reminder, this is for the first four office visits per person.

Kaiser medical plans

There are no plan changes in 2019.

Delta Dental and Willamette Dental plans

There are no plan changes in 2019.

VSP plans

VSP – All plans

  • Move to the VSP Choice network of providers. This network utilizes the same providers as the current network in the states of Washington and Oregon. Out-of-network allowances will change and will be listed on updated summaries which will be posted to the website early November.

VSP – All plans except the $10/$15 copay plan

  • Increase the contact lens allowance from $150 to $200.

VSP – $10/$15 copay plan

  • Increase the contact lens allowance from $105 to $150.

Life, Long-term disability and Employee Assistance Program

There are no plan changes in 2019.
