Golden Apple Awards

Recognizing excellence in workplace wellness!

The Golden Apple Awards recognize outstanding employee health promotion programs in Washington State. The Washington State Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports originally established the Golden Apples in the mid-1980s. Today’s Healthy Worksite Summit honors that tradition, by recognizing public and private employers across the State who demonstrate real commitment to their employees’ overall well-being.

Apply for a 2025 Golden Apple Award

Golden Apple Awards are awarded annually by a committee of peer professionals. Nominations may be submitted by anyone believing a workplace health initiative deserves special recognition. Individuals and organizations are welcome to nominate themselves. Previous winners may reapply again in five or more years. Winners are recognized annually during the Healthy Worksite Summit.
