Deadline for reporting lodging tax fast approaching

May 30 is the deadline for submitting 2017 lodging tax expenditures to the Joint Legislative Audit & Review Committee (JLARC).

For cities that have not reported their information the following may occur:

• Frequent emails from JLARC asking for submittal of the information; and
• A possible phone call and or email from an AWC analyst.

The reporting site can be accessed on JLARC’s webpage. Municipalities may also direct questions to jlarclodgingtax@leg.wa.gov.

JLARC has made the data available for cities already submitted to review and make edits if necessary.
